Kent Reliance raises £50,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity
05 Aug 2013

Kent Reliance is celebrating the two year anniversary of their partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. During this time, they have raised a fantastic £50,000 for the charity through sales of their savings products and on-going staff fundraising activities. The money raised will help build a new respiratory unit in the hospital.

To help celebrate this special occasion, Kent Reliance is giving away 50 Peter Pan goody bags to customers that open a Peter Pan easy access account from one of their nine branches during August.

Andy Golding, Kent Reliance CEO, said:

“On the second anniversary of our partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity we are delighted to have reached the milestone of £50,000 raised for the charity. The funds will go towards helping build a new respiratory unit with space for a parent or carer to sleep by their child's bedside.

“To celebrate this achievement we will be giving away 50 goody bags to customers that open a Peter Pan easy access account in one of our branches in August. With 0.25% of the average monthly balance from each account going to the charity, this is a fantastic way to support the work they do.”

Sarah Canniford, Corporate Account Executive at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, said: “We are tremendously grateful for the fundraising by Kent Reliance which will help us make a real difference for families and ensure that our patients are treated in world class facilities. We are very much looking forward to working with Kent Reliance in future and building on their fundraising success so far.”
