Anchorians Football Club is a FA Charter Standard Community club, based in Gillingham, which provides football for boys, girls, men and women, both with and without disabilities, and hosts nearly 400 members that participate each week across the South East of England. It’s currently the only club in the Medway Towns to be awarded the prestigious FA Chartered Standard Community award. The club prides itself on being friendly, family-orientated and providing fun and enjoyment for all players.

Kent Reliance is proud to sponsor the Anchorians Equal Teams for the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 seasons. The club aims to bring footballers together with and without learning disabilities.

Leigh Willis, Chairman of the Anchorians Football Club, said, “We are very proud to have Kent Reliance as our sponsor and partners for the Anchorians Equal Teams. Due to the support Kent Reliance has given the club, we have been able to purchase new kits for all the players, which have enabled the teams to carry on participating in the league for another two seasons, and ultimately have more fun and enjoyment.”

The Anchorians Equal Teams club has over 40 players creating teams that participate in the Kent Disability League on a monthly basis, competing against others from all over Kent.
