We've updated our Cash ISA range to introduce a customer-level ISA wrapper, bringing all your Kent Reliance ISAs together to give you a clearer view of your ISA allowance with us.

Your new ISA wrapper allows you to:

  • Save up to your tax-free allowance across a number of different Cash ISAs within the same tax year.
  • Track your remaining ISA allowance online, across your accounts.
  • See your tax-free savings in one place and manage them with ease.

Alongside this, we’ve made our Easy Access Cash ISA flexible – here's what that means for you.

What is a flexible ISA?

Our Easy Access Cash ISA is now flexible. A flexible ISA lets you withdraw money and pay it back in during the same tax year, without it counting twice against your annual ISA allowance, subject to ISA rules.

For example: if you start with a £20,000 allowance and pay in £10,000, you have £10,000 of allowance remaining. If you then withdraw £5,000, your remaining allowance effectively becomes £15,000 – giving you £15,000 left to use, rather than £10,000 as it would have been before.

Not all ISA providers offer this. It's worth checking whether your current provider's Cash ISA is flexible if you think you might need to access your savings during the tax year.

What can I see in my online account?

When you log in to Online Services, you'll see a single view of all the ISAs you hold with us – your balances, contributions and remaining allowance together, under one log-in.

This means no more switching between accounts or logging in separately to check individual balances. Everything you hold with us is visible in one clear dashboard view.

This only covers ISAs you hold with us. If you also hold ISAs elsewhere, you'll need to check those separately as we can't show contributions made to other providers.

ISA transfers – what’s new?

Kent Reliance ISAs are now managed through our new online platform, giving you greater visibility and control over your savings. You can:

  • Submit ISA transfer requests online – no printing or posting forms.
  • Transfer at any time (Easy Access ISA accounts) using Online Services.
  • Make partial transfers to or from other providers.
  • Track the progress of your transfer through Online Services.

Please note, we only accept ISA transfers submitted electronically.

What other changes are there to my Kent Reliance ISA?

  • Faster payments. Send and receive money more quickly through Online Services.
  • Interest reported on all Easy Access ISA balances. We now report all interest earned, not just amounts over £1,000 as before.
  • More time to fund a Fixed Rate ISA. You now have 30 days to add your money after opening (previously 14 days).
  • Self-serve account management. Update your personal details online and manage key account information at a time that suits you.

What do I need to do next?

As an existing customer, to see your allowance, request a transfer, and use the features above, you'll need to register for Online Services if you haven't already – otherwise you won't be able to access the new features.

If you're opening a new ISA, you'll be set up on the new platform from the start.

ISA allowance and flexible ISA: FAQs

What is the ISA allowance for this tax year?

You can pay up to £20,000 into your ISAs this tax year, across all providers combined.

Can I withdraw money from a flexible ISA and put it back?

Yes. With a flexible ISA, you can withdraw money and replace it in the same tax year, into any ISA account you hold with that provider, without it affecting your annual allowance, subject to ISA rules.

How long do I have to fund a Kent Reliance Fixed Rate ISA?

You have 30 days from opening your account to add your money.

Is the ISA allowance changing?

From the 2027/28 tax year, the tax-free allowance for Cash ISAs is proposed to drop from £20,000 to £12,000 for savers under 65. This doesn't affect the current £20,000 allowance.

What's the minimum amount I need to open a Kent Reliance Easy Access Cash ISA?

£1.

Good to know

With our Fixed Rate ISAs, the interest rate is fixed for the term of your ISA, and you can choose to receive interest monthly or annually, depending on the account.

See our terms and conditions for details on withdrawals and early closures.

Tax treatment depends on your individual circumstances and may change in the future.

One year, two years or longer: how long should you fix your savings for?
News Article details

How long you fix your savings for depends entirely on your personal needs and what future plans you have for your finances. Since a fixed-term account limits your access to your funds for the duration of the bond, it’s important that you carefully consider the purpose of these savings.
